Graffiti History This research investigates the history of graffiti and its representation, including how graffiti's official and unofficial histories are documented, archived and recorded, as well as recent interest in the graffiti as a form of cultural heritage and the effects of the digital reproducution and circulation of graffiti images.
Publications in this area include a recent paper on the history of graffiti in the Richmond abattoirs, a local site in Melbourne, a journal article on framings of graffiti as cultural heritage and a book chapter on graffiti as a form of media history.
